| I have clearly been walking around with my fingers in my ears of late, because......... if you take cheque payments from your customers the cheque guarantee system finished on June 30th.
The UK Payments Council took the decision to close the Cheque Guarantee Card Scheme last month, citing a 'terminal decline' in the use of cheques as the main reason.Apologies if I'm getting you sucking eggs here, but in case you were as unaware as I : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| Thanks for that post Lin.... yes its been coming very slowly for a very long time. Cheques have not been accepted in supermarkets for ages. Mayb its a reason to buy those hand held credit card machines !!! altho when I looked, they were pretty pricey. I will still accept a cheque tho. Thats coz I know where they live !!  | |
